Introduction
Indochina Sails is one of the first companies specialising in luxury cruises in Halong Bay with more than 10 years of significant experience. Its 3 new ships namely Indochina Sails 1, Indochina Sail 2 and Valentine recently came into service in 2007, confirmed again its objectives of charm, comfort and perfect services and increased its capacity many times higher than ever before. Indochina sails became the first choice of many tourists inside and outside Vietnam for their trip to the World Natural Heritage – Ha Long Bay.
After the success of launching 3 new ships into Ha Long Bay tour, Indochina Sails will inaugurate, in 2008, a 5 star restaurant right at Bai Chay Beach in order to fulfill our perfectly-evaluated customer services. The restaurant is also flexibly designed to be used for medium and large conferences and seminars for about 500 people. Especially, our restaurant will have a wine-cellar with more than 1000 types carefully selected from many parts of the world.
In order to complete the trip in comfort, Indochina Sails has set up a group of 16-seat Mercedez Benz in the route Hanoi- Ha Long - Hanoi everyday and a best placed quay at Ha Long bay.
With Indochina, you are not only pleased with all the equipments and living conditions (rooms, bars, food, activities…) but also relaxed and comfortable with all the services that we bring to you during the discovery tour along the area named “The Indochina Pearl”.

The Cabins

Indochina sails owns the most modern and luxury bedrooms among the cruise service providers in Ha Long Bay. All the rooms are furnished in a traditional way, getting the best out of natural materials like wood, bamboo… If “Trac” wood – a rare, valuable and solid kind of wood is used to make the cover of the ship, all the inners are made by “Huong wood – a perfumed wood”, which gives not only the impressive colour but also a special perfume that represents the high class and the unique character of Indochina sails. Indochina sails also takes full advantage of granite stones from Thanh Hoa which are warm in the winter and fresh in summer, and every modern comforts imported from Japan (massage shower, big bathtub… ) to be a 4 star floating hotel on the bay.

All rooms in Indochina sails are especially designed with big windows on the sea so that their guests can view the whole admirable scene of Ha Long Bay from their bedrooms.

Superior Room
Located on first floor, Superior rooms (13m2) offer all the amenities necessary for your comfort : air-conditioner, wall fan, refrigerator, twin beds or a queen-size bed, high-class drapes and blanket, safety equipment and life-jackets, mini bar and strongbox, en-suite bathroom with shower, bathroom accessories such as towel, hair-dryer, slippers and bathing suit. Moreover, each features a picture window, providing added light and memorable views.

Deluxe Room
Deluxe rooms (13m2) are all located on second floor and and equipped with all the amenities necessary your perfect comfort : twin beds or a queen-size bed, air-conditioner, wall fan, refrigerator, en-suite bathroom with shower, safety equipment and life-jackets, mini bar and strongbox, high-class drapes and blanket, bathroom acessories such as towel, hair-dryer, slippers and bathing suit. Each features a picture window, providing added light and memorable views.

Valentine Deluxe
Our 04 Valentine Deluxe (19m2) are located on first floor. Each Valentine Deluxe includes a queen-size bed and all the amenities of a Deluxe cabin plus big bathroom with massage showers, massage bathtub...

Valentine Suite
Our unique spacious Valentine Suite (30m2) is on second floor. Valentine Suite includes a queen-size bed and all the amenities of a Deluxe cabin plus big bathroom with massage showers, massage bathtub.

Restaurant and Bar

Restaurant
The luxury, large and cozy dining room are perfectly designed to let people freely enjoy the miraculous view of Ha Long Bay. It can serve 32 customers at a time.

The main food in Indochina Sails is Vietnam traditional dishes made of local seafood. Besides, experienced cooks of Indochina sails will consult and help you choose other delicious dishes from beef, chicken with fresh herbs and spices in set menu or from the list.

According to individual or group bookings, we organize music show with traditional musical group. With the big screen in the centre of the dining room, you can enjoy the most excellent films about Indochina, which help you have a broader view of this mysterious land.

We are constantly developing newly-themed dinners and events and they are all tailored to our client’s individual needs.

Bar
You can easily have a glass of sudden inspired cocktail, or your favourite wine in the list of well-chosen and fairly complete types from famous wine producing countries such as France, America, Chile, Spain, Italy, Australia… In the evening, you can choose enjoying the excellent films or joinning the “Happy Hour” program : buy one get one free drink. The “Happy Hour” is from 9pm to 11pm everyday.

Group Tour

DAY 1: Hanoi – Ha Long

11.30 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.

12.15 Transfer by tender to the boat – enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing and safety instructions.

12.30 Check in and begin cruise. Sail through beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay enroute to Halong Bay.

13.00 Lunch - enjoy deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu Lunch. Massage service available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book in advance with your Cruise Manager.

14.45 Arrive at Luon Cave. Depart from the boat and journey past such popular sites as “Đầu Người” Head Island, “Con Rùa” Turtle Island and “Cổng Trời” Heaven’s Gate Island on the way to the cave. There are two options for exploring the cave and surrounding area. One option is to transfer to small bamboo boats which are rowed by the local people. The second option is to travel by kayak (passengers row kayaks for themselves). The kayaking option is $10.00 per person unless pre-booked. 

15:45 Return to the boat and sail for about 15 minutes to our second stop – Titop Island.

16.00 Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels will be supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.

17.00 Depart and sail for about 30 minutes to Luon Bo area, where we will anchor for overnight.

19.15 Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.

20.45 Evening activities include: film entertainment (on some boats) in the dining room at 21.00, board games and playing cards are available, and massage services are available. Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat.

DAY 2 : Ha Long - Hanoi

06.45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

07.00 Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).

07.00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area. There is a small fishing village here.

07.45 Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.

09.00 Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.

09.30 Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet in the dining room. We will settle bills after breakfast. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

11.00 Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier. Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

Group Tour 

DAY 1: Hanoi – Ha Long

8:00 Shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel

11:30  Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.

12:15 Transfer by tender to the Valentine cruise boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.

13:00  Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese and International Set Menu.

Massage service is available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise.

14.30  Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.

15.15 Transfer back to the boat and sail for approximately 45 minutes to our second destination - the Bat Cave area.

16.15 Arrive at the Bat Cave area. There are two programs to choose from at this time. One option is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters. Kayaking is $10. per person unless already booked as part of your package. Water is supplied.

The second option is to visit the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes.

18:30  Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight.

19:00  Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.

20:30  Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room at approximately 9:15, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes.

21:00 – 23:00  Happy Hour! Buy one drink - get one free (wine excluded).

23:00  End of program for Day One

DAY 2 – Ha Long bay cruise

6:45  Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

7:00  Arrive at the Surprise Cave area, there is a small fishing village here. Relax onboard. You may join Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck at 7:00, duraion about 30 minutes.

7:45  Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room.

8:30  Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more secluded and untouched locales. Exact locations depend on tide conditions. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking and swimming. A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day.

16:00  Return by tender to the Indochina Sails boat.

18:30  Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight.

19:00  Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese and Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.

20:30  Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room at approximately 9:15, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes.

21:00 – 23:00  Happy Hour! Buy one drink - get one free (wine excluded). Overnight on boat

DAY 3: Ha Long - Hanoi

6:45  Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room.

7:00  Arrive at the Surprise Cave area, there is a small fishing village here. Relax onboard. You may join Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck at 7:00 about 30 minutes.

8:00  Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.

9:00  Upon return to the boat take time to freshen up and please check-out of cabins. Please leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer to the pier). Depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier.

9:30   Enjoy Breakfast Set Menu or Buffet served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after breakfast.

10:00  Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room and enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

10:45  Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier.

11:00  Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation. Back to Hanoi by bus
