Emperor Cruises’ fleet of vessels will combine classic elegance with modern comfort. The newly built, custom-designed, traditional imperial cruise ship will feature three decks that house a smart restaurant, two bars, a small library, a massage room plus 18 luxurious en-suite cabins with private balconies.

CABINS ON BOAT

All 8 suites will be decorated in warm colors with leather headboards, plush sofas or chairs and drapes, new lighting features, window coverings, fancy carpeting, modern works of art, stylish bed cushions, and throw pillows inspired by original designs dating from the 1930s. Emperor Cruises are all-suite cruises with cabins measuring from 38 to 70 square metres, large enough to be able to add an extra bed. All the suites are spacious with their own private balcony affording spectacular ocean views.

The bathrooms are uniquely designed and fit for royalty with a tub or a walk-in shower. The ocean can be viewed from any corner of the bathroom.

A spacious sitting area provides room to stretch out and watch television, read a book or simply enjoy the sunset or awake each morning to see new vistas.

All 8 cabins are en-suites with private balconies, panoramic ocean views and a personal butler service. The Emperor Cruises fleet is designed to be a sanctuary that ensures each and every moment counts for guests in Ha Long Bay – a must-see on the travel itinerary of all visitors to Vietnam.

SIGNATURE SUITE

There are 2 kinds of Signature suite: Do Son Suite and Lak Lake Suite with the same size anf amenity . While Do Son Suite is located on the main deck of the vessel and is 37.6 square metres in size, Lak Lake Suite is adjacent to the imperial Hue Suite complete with its own private sun deck.. Every suite is designed individually with the character reflecting the history of the original royal villas. The interior design is inspired by the 1930s and the isolated former royal summer residence overlooking Do Son Beach, which was the most popular beach destination in Northern Vietnam.

The Signature Suite is spacious with its own private balcony affording spectacular ocean views. The old-fashioned bathroom is tastefully designed, gold in color and fit for royalty with a tub or walk-in shower. The ocean can be viewed from any corner of the bathroom.

STATE ROOM SUITE

The State Room Suite has a double bedroom and all the amenities are handmade and exclusive as befits a suite on the upper deck. The large, gracious balcony allows plenty of light into an airy 42.9 square metre room featuring elegant furnishings and rich decor. Meticulous attention to detail is reflected in the king-sized bed and marble bathroom featuring walk-in shower and an Indochine style old-fashioned bath tub.

ROYAL SUITES

The Royal Suite offers the best views from its private balcony and sundeck. The bedroom features huge windows, a magnificent king-sized bed and hand-painted wooden floors. The large living room has original-style wooden floors, a fireplace and bookcases.

One of the two largest suites on Emperor Cruises at 60 m2, with styles that blend traditional French classical architecture and Vietnamese flair, your stay will be enhanced with luxury amenities including WiFi, LED TV with DVD, iPad and iPod as well as butler services.

Our Panorama Restaurant, Lounge and Bar promises you beautiful views both day and night within this World’ Heritage Listed Site. Located on the sun deck,  here you can sunbathe or enjoy a cold drink at the bar while taking in the breathtaking panorama, admire the sunset or take part in the cooking class and wine tasting.

The spacious sun deck affords superb views of the ever-changing fairytale landscapes. Rise early in the morning, and welcome the first rays of sunshine that announce the new day, and join the open-air Vovinam class (traditional Vietnamese martial arts).

We serve afternoon tea, where we introduce you to the traditional Vietnamese art of drinking tea. You can also sample the finest Vietnamese coffees and try your hand at making a café filter or café sua (milk coffee)  da for yourself. You can choose to have breakfast and dinner here if you like.

The Panorama Restaurant, Lounge and Bar is very spacious offering plenty of relaxation options and an open-air cinema. During the cruise, you can choose from a selection of complimentary wines, beers, soft drinks, cocktails, and spirits, as well as tea and coffee.

Our fitness centre is perfectly located on the upper deck giving our guests breathtaking views across Halong Bay so that they can feel inspired as they carry out their on-board fitness regimen.

Check in to your cabin as we set sail from Vinashin dock to cruise among the many beautiful islets (scenes from the film ‘Indochine’ were filmed here). Bai Tu Long Bay has a wild beauty and the panoramas from the boat are unforgettable.

 13.00 An a la carte lunch will be served at our Royal Restaurant on the main deck. Savor delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay.

 15.30 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village, the famous pearl-growing village, to view the fishing tanks of the local people. You have time to observe the process of feeding pearl as well as learning a little about the life of the local people.

 16.30 Proceed to Vung Vieng floating village to board bamboo boats so the locals can row you around their village and oyster pearl farming plots. Return to the boat by speedboat.

 16.35 The cruise continues from the Vung Vieng fishing village to Cong Do (sleeping area), where you will enjoy the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset, admire the striking islands and islets, relax, indulge yourself and savor the peaceful atmosphere which can only be found out here among the islands.

 17.20 Choose from kayaking, just relaxing or taking afternoon tea and watching the sky color change as the sun sets.

 18.15 Attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (making spring rolls) in a truly stunning setting.

 6.30-7.45 Wake up to the gentle lapping of the water against the boat and as the first rays of the sun announce a new day. Before enjoying breakfast have cookies and tea and then try the tai chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Bai Tu Long Bay

 7.45-8.45 Explore the area of Hon Co Island and Co Cave (Grass Cave, also known as Thien Canh Son). You can revel in the breathtaking view of Bai Tu Long bay from up high, as well as the glorious long white-sand beach of Hon Co Island. Afterwards relax on the beach, go swimming in the crystal clear water and explore the cave.

 8.45 Return to the cruise by small boat

 9.15 Arrange the luggage and check out.

 9.30-10.30 Enjoy brunch on board while cruising back to the mainland.
